PANDORA - Increasing Stellar Sales with Virgin Incentives

With a plan to send seasonal sales through the roof, PANDORA teamed up with Virgin Incentives to offer their teams a sales incentive that everyone would want to win.

The Problem

PANDORA is one of the world's leading jewellery manufacturers, starting out of Denmark to become a worldwide employer in 70 countries, with 327 stores across the UK alone.

During the Mother's Day period in 2017, PANDORA were aiming to bump up their already stellar sales to stratospheric new heights, meaning they were on the hunt for a UK-wide reward that every salesperson would want to win and that winners could claim at a time that suited them.

The Solution

Afternoon teas are available up and down the country, in tearooms and fine hotels all offering the sort of sweet and savoury treats that anyone would be happy to win. With a sales workforce that varied in age, gender and location, these proved to be the best balance of desirable, affordable and redeemable.

With an afternoon tea set up as a prize for the top salesperson in any given store, PANDORA were more than ready to kick off their Mother's Day collection sales period in style.

The Result

Using 228 Afternoon Teas for Two from Virgin Incentives via Virgin Experience Days, PANDORA were able to motivate their staff to be top-sellers at their store and inject a bit of friendly competition into the sales of their new product line. The reward was for the top-seller at each given store and a guest of their choice, which PANDORA said increased the appeal for the prize.

When all was said and done, prizes given out and sales tallied, PANDORA reported a significant boost in sales. Dispatched in one go to the PANDORA head office, each with a personalised message card, PANDORA was then able to distribute at their leisure to store managers or the winning salespeople direct.

Speaking after the sales period was over, the Marketing Co-Ordinator for PANDORA UK had this to say:
